What we treat

Our general dentistry services

Checkups & Cleanings Routine exams, cleanings, and screenings that catch problems early.

Routine dental care helps keep your teeth and gums healthy, catch problems early, and determine the right treatment when something feels wrong.

This may include

  • Comprehensive and limited dental exams
  • Digital X-rays when needed
  • Regular and deep cleanings
  • Fluoride treatments and dental sealants
  • Oral cancer screening
Tooth-Colored Fillings Natural-looking repairs for cavities and small areas of tooth damage.

Tooth-colored fillings are a natural-looking way to repair cavities and small areas of tooth damage while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.

We may recommend them for

  • New cavities
  • Small chips or areas of wear
  • Broken or leaking fillings
  • Replacing older fillings when appropriate

Our goal: restore the tooth comfortably and help it blend naturally with your smile.

Crowns & Bridges Restorations that return strength, function, and appearance.

Crowns and bridges are designed to restore strength, function, and appearance when a tooth is significantly damaged or when one or more teeth are missing.

They may be used for

  • Cracked or weakened teeth
  • Teeth with large existing fillings
  • Teeth that have had root canal treatment
  • Severely worn or damaged teeth
  • Replacing certain missing teeth with a dental bridge

Our goal: create a restoration that feels comfortable, functions well, and looks natural.

Root Canal Treatment Care to save a tooth when the pulp is inflamed, infected, or damaged.

Root canal treatment is used to save a tooth when the soft tissue inside the tooth, called the pulp, becomes severely inflamed, infected, or damaged. During treatment, the affected pulp is removed, the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and sealed, and the tooth is then restored for long-term function.

You may need a root canal if you have

  • Persistent tooth pain or pain when biting
  • Lingering sensitivity to hot or cold
  • A deep cavity that reaches or comes very close to the pulp
  • A small pimple or red bump on the gum near a tooth
  • An infection seen on a dental X-ray, even when there is little or no pain

Our goal: relieve discomfort, treat the infection, and preserve your natural tooth whenever possible.

Dental Emergencies Same-day visits for pain, swelling, broken teeth, and trauma.

Dental emergencies can happen at any time, which is why we reserve same-day emergency appointments each day whenever possible. We’ll evaluate the problem, help address your discomfort, and recommend treatment based on your individual situation—because emergency treatment is always case by case.

We commonly see emergencies involving

  • Severe toothaches or sudden sensitivity
  • Swelling or dental infections
  • Broken or cracked teeth
  • Lost or broken fillings and crowns
  • Dental trauma
  • Teeth that may need root canal treatment
  • Teeth that may need extraction

Depending on what we find, treatment may involve a filling, crown repair, root canal treatment, extraction, medication, or other appropriate care.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in a checkup and cleaning?

A visit may include a comprehensive or limited dental exam, digital X-rays when needed, a regular or deep cleaning, fluoride treatments and dental sealants, and an oral cancer screening. The exact combination depends on what we find and what you need.

When would I need a tooth-colored filling?

We may recommend a tooth-colored filling for a new cavity, a small chip or area of wear, a broken or leaking filling, or to replace an older filling when appropriate. The aim is to restore the tooth comfortably and help it blend naturally with your smile.

When is a crown or a bridge used?

Crowns and bridges restore strength, function, and appearance when a tooth is significantly damaged or when one or more teeth are missing. They may be used for cracked or weakened teeth, teeth with large existing fillings, teeth that have had root canal treatment, severely worn or damaged teeth, or to replace certain missing teeth with a dental bridge.

Can you see me for a dental emergency?

Yes. We reserve same-day emergency appointments each day whenever possible. We’ll evaluate the problem, help address your discomfort, and recommend treatment based on your individual situation — because emergency treatment is always case by case.
